People actually say these...

Here on our bright sunny shores of Singapore, we suffer from a small problem. That problem is, (drum roll) english. Or rather, the pronounciation of english words. Here are a few classic examples.

EX-SKKEEWW = excuse me
MORE BETTER = much better
CHER = teacher
HOW MANY MONEY = how much is it?
NOWS THE DAY = now days
OPEN PHONE = switch on your handphone
CLOSE PHONE = switch off your handphone
PRESS MONEY = withdraw money from the ATM
MY ONE = mine
BORROW ME MONEY = can you lend me some money

These are just a few of the words we can hear on a daily basis. Its sad isn't it? Not only can't we pronounce words, we have practically killed the english language because our grammer and vocab is simply terrible. This doesn't even include the "La", "Law", "Hor" and many other irksome sounds that we add to the end of our sentences. Please, learn to speak proper english.
