SMU By Night.

I happened to be at SMU last night and decided to take a few pictures. Enjoy!

A few years ago, I tried to take a photo of a friend. We were at a party and we were all taking group photos and I wanted to take a photo of her but she covered here face and said no. When questioned, she said something that till today, I'll never forget;

"By taking my picture, you'll capture a part of my soul."

That was her reason for not wanting to get her photo taken. And honestly, till today, I can't actually say I've ever seen a photo of her nor has any of my friends or I ever taken a photo of her. I know it sounds weird but that's her decision I guess. Superstitious? I don't know.
But I guess that's why I do it. That's why I just happened to fall in love with photography. To be able to capture a particular moment in time. Physical evidence. Stunning visual interpretations. Call it your soul if you want, but I guess that is what makes it so special. To capture that magical moment because it'll never happen again. Nothing you do will ever give you the exact mood, feelings, lights, atmosphere and everything special about that particular moment.

Anyhow, below is a picture of my new Crumpler camera bag. I bought it today at Wheelock Place. It cost me quite abit but I'm very happy non the less. Yeah!
